Rehoming our sweet dog. Rehoming fee will be charged. He will come with the equivalent of 2 bags of science diet food.
He is:
Up to date on all vaccines
A one dog family
Very loyal to his people
Very intuitive to any changes in his people: if someone is upset he is quick to come snuggle and reassure
We also have reason to believe he can tell when someone has sugar levels that are off. There have been times my blood sugar levels were shifting and he was between my legs following me before I even realized anything was happening
Not food aggressive at all
Great with young kids ONLY if they are your own
Very easy to train, eager to please.
Kennel trained
Will trash surf if you have one he can easily access, we have one that the lid closes on its own and he never messes with it
Will take food on table/counter if it’s left unattended for long periods of time
We are rehoming because he has been aggressive towards people he doesn’t know and we have 3 about to be 4 children that are too prone to leaving doors open. We live on a street with LOTS of kids and the risk for us is more than we can handle right now. He is so perfect in every other way. He has been fine with other adult company in our home so long as they are not being loud. We have also had professional training who has also said he is not truly aggressive he just needs lots of work to show him other people are not a threat. We started the process with him and he is much better than he was years ago so there is still hope for the right person to move him further along.
