Archie is a Golden Retriever/poodle mix, aka a goldendoodle. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender and is around 3 1/2 years old. Archie's family had a change in work schedules and Archie didn't adjust well to being left alone for longer hours. He's a BIG, happy boy who is fully vetted and his fee is $150.

Archie is looking for a home in which he will not be left alone for long hours. He's a very social guy who does well with other dogs and is tolerant of cats. He does well with children. He has a very curly coat that will require regular grooming. A potential adopter should be prepared for this added expense. He's still a pretty young dog, too, so he will need regular exercise. He's just an all around good dude!

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
