Kingman (male) - approx 3 years - 8.15 pounds

Yuma (male) - approx 8 months - 4.36 pounds

Winslow (female) - approx 8 years - 6.70 pounds (likely the matriarch)

Mesa (female) - approx 4 years - 5.3 pounds

Pima (female) - approx 4 months - 2.3 pounds

Star Valley (female) - approx 1 year - 6.4 pounds

Tempe (female) - approx 2 years - 3.04 pounds

Peoria (female) - approx 2 years - 5.5 pounds

Sedona (female) - approx 4 years - 3.9 pounds

Reason for intake:  13 Chihuahuas came to us from Animal Control in Northeast Louisiana.  In the comments, you'll see a time-lapse video.  Three hours of work is condensed into 33 seconds.  All of these littles are heading to our vets on different dates so as to not overwhelm our vet clinics or the dogs.  They are scared right now, but are coming around really quickly!  Stay tuned!

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
