Fence needed? No, a fenced in yard is not required but please know that leash walking will be new to Ashley. She's never been asked to potty on a leash. This is a skill and we find it takes a few weeks to learn.  Expect accidents in the meantime.

She enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a canine companion—but she’d also be perfectly content as your one and only, soaking up all the attention and love.

What is my personality like? Ashley came to us as a breeder release, and unlike many from similar backgrounds, she is bursting with personality. She adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Ashley loves to explore and play with other dogs and is always on the lookout for a new adventure. Her inquisitive mind needs regular mental stimulation, which makes training an enjoyable and rewarding experience for both of you. She walks on a leash, but her nose and eyes often lead her on little detours—so she’s still learning not to pull when something catches her attention. Once she's had her fill of fun, Ashley transforms into the perfect lap dog. She’ll happily curl up in your lap for a cozy nap and some well-earned snuggles.

Take her for a walk or to the dog park and you’ll quickly become a social butterfly. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
