Meet
Azula
, an 8-month-old German Shepherd puppy with gorgeous elegance and grace! With her lush, silky black coat, long narrow snoot, bright white teeth, and adorable, always perked-up ears, this girl is a real stunner. While she’s a bit timid in the stressful shelter environment, Azula absolutely thrives on human connection and bonds quickly and closely with those she trusts. Her warm and kind disposition, combined with her bright, alert personality, makes her the perfect pup to learn and grow with. Azula would benefit from all the puppy basics, and some positive socialization with other dogs too, but with the right training and investment, she will become a loving, loyal companion for life. Ready to give Azula the home she deserves?
8 month old black German Shepherd puppy
50 pound spayed female - a little underweight, so needs some TLC and all the tasty treats to help her put on a few pounds
Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, Azula caught a little doggy cold at the shelter, which has already been treated - will need to be adopted on a health waiver, with adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment
Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/7/25 as an owner surrender - but we have no notes and no idea why, as little Azula is such an angel!
elegant and svelte, with a lush, jet black coat
a very cute, long, narrow snoot, bright white teeth, and charmingly HUGE ears that stay perked at attention
overwhelmed and timid in the stressful shelter environment, but people are her lifeline - she thrives on connecting with others, and bonds quickly and closely
warm and kind disposition, bright and alert too
could use all the puppy basics training-wise, as well as some positive socialization with other pups
a good blank slate to learn and grow with - with the right investment in training and manners, will be a loving and loyal companion for a lifetime
