Meet Barkley – A Sweet Boy Looking for a Second Chance 


Barkley is a loving, gentle soul who was adopted from our rescue nearly a year ago and quickly became the heart of his home. Now, through no fault of his own, he’s coming back into our care. His adopter is sadly no longer able to care for him due to physical limitations, and we are urgently looking for a foster home to help Barkley through this transition.

Barkley is just under 2 years old and weighs around 45-50 lbs – the perfect medium size for cuddles, play, and everything in between. He’s incredibly affectionate, great with people, and gets along beautifully with other dogs and has been good with the adopter's grandchildren. Whether it’s going for a walk, lounging around the house, or simply being your loyal companion, Barkley is happiest when he’s near those he loves.


He’s been through a lot of change, so we’re hoping to find a calm, supportive foster (or adoptive!) home where he can feel safe, loved, and settled once again.
