Barry is a confident, playful pup with a heart full of curiosity and a nose for adventure! This little terrier mix is all about being near his people—and his squeaky toys. Whether he's hopping through tall grass like a tiny deer or flopping over for belly rubs, Barry is always up for fun. He’s doing great with house training (no accidents yet!) and is learning the ropes of crate life and leash walking. While he's not quite ready to share his toys with other dogs just yet, he coexists calmly with his foster's pups and is on his way to being a well-mannered companion. Cats? He’d love to chase them, so maybe not the best match. Kids? We’re not sure yet, but his playful, inquisitive nature shows a lot of promise with the right introduction.Barry would thrive in a home that gives him daily walks, mental stimulation, and lots of love. Apartment or house—he’s flexible. He’s medium energy and would make a great little adventure buddy, but also knows how to chill.A few Barry quirks: he prefers his treats dropped rather than hand-fed (it’s more fun that way!), and while he may not love being crated for long workdays just yet, he’s learning fast. What makes Barry special? His eagerness to learn, his sweet little hops through tall grass, and the joy he brings just by being around. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a spunky spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Barry just might be your guy.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
