Meet Bella, the doodle! Bella is a gorgeous girl who will likely attract a lot of adopters. She needs the right adopter and home environment to set her up for success. Her favorite activities in her previous home were walking and riding in the car. She has some anxiety towards strangers and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. A quiet, low traffic home with a prioritization of decompression during her transition to the adoptive home will help Bella to succeed in her adoptive home. She knows “sit”, “laydown” and “shake” already and would love to bond with her new guardian through positive reinforcement based training. This dog’s adoption fee is reduced to $70 from May 1st to May 15th as part of “Empty the Shelters”, an adoption event hosted by the Bissell Pet Foundation to help pets across the nation find the loving adoptive homes they deserve.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
