What kind of home would be best for me? Bentley is an active dog who thrives on exercise and mental stimulation. He needs an energetic family who can keep up with his boundless enthusiasm. Bentley does NOT require another dog in the home to keep him company but he MUST receive multiple outlets for his energy. He loves having a playmate and would benefit from having another dog to play with. If Bentley is to be an only dog he will require an abundance of activity. He loves hikes, running in the backyard, the dog park, doggy daycare, runs and jogs with his humans. Bentley is full of fun and adventure and he wants badly to share it with you!
Because of his size and energy, Bentley is not suited to apartment living. He would be happiest in a home with a yard, whether with a single person, a couple, or a family. Bentley is great with children. Bentley hasn’t been introduced to small dogs or cats yet, but his playful nature may be overwhelming for smaller pets.
What is my personality like? Meet Bentley, your new adventuresome best friend! Bentley is a stunning and active standard poodle who is looking for his forever family. This beautiful boy is full of playful puppy love and wants nothing more than to run, jump, and play to his heart's content. Bentley is with us now because his previous owner’s illness prevented them from caring for him, but he’s still full of love and ready for his next chapter.
Bentley lives life in the fast lane—he’s always ready to play and have fun. He loves playing with other dogs and getting attention from his human caregivers. Bentley has a hearty appetite and will counter surf for food. He will need to be trained to not counter surf. He will also need leash training and taught his basic commands. He's young, extroverted, and full of personality.
Bentley’s ideal day includes walks, hikes, runs, and maybe even trips to the mountains or beach - anything that keeps him moving and engaged. As a young adult, he will need training in basic cues like stay, down, and come, as well as guidance on leash manners. Bentley knows how to sit. Bentley is full of entertainment, love, and happiness. He is looking for a loving home where he can share his joy, energy, and affection. If you’re ready for an active, loving companion who’s up for any adventure, Bentley is ready to be by your side every step of the way.
Come meet Bentley today, his big heart and vibrant personality will win you over!
How do I act when I first meet new people? Bentley’s greeting is always the same, “Hey buddy! Let’s play!” He’s friendly, affectionate, and always eager to make new friends. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a belly rub, or just a good snuggle, Bentley will soak up all the love you have to offer. He is a GREAT dog!
Other tips and tidbits: Bentley was born on 11/21/23.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
