MEET BERETTA!
Beretta is an amazing pup! She is roughly 5 years old which was an estimated age based on her teeth from Maricopa County Shelter. She was turned into them when she was found running on a highway and a car opened up their door and she hopped right in! She was on the euthanasia list for kennel stress and she was able to be saved by an amazing foster! She's been an amazing dog in her foster home. She is well trained, heels when walking, she can be as active as you like and she can also be lazy and watch a movie with you. She doesn't care much for toys or chewing which is awesome because she doesn't mess with anything in the house. She sits, shakes, lays down, and she is not an escape artist. She is good with horses and chases wild rabbits but doesn't want to seem to hurt them, just chase. She is great in the car, loves hearty treats but isn't really a bone chewer. She doesn't shed much and is easy to bathe. Her negatives are she is a bit timid when you first meet her and if she is confined it can be worse. Occasionally she'll growl at someone when first meeting them but once she gets to know them, she just wants affection. When people approach her gently, she is ok with that and has been fine with them. She has gotten exponentially better the longer she's been with her foster, she's been off leash and she greets people and dogs very well. She's done great with the 5 different dogs she's met! She would make a great addition to an active family who also wants to have a cuddle buddy.
