Black Beauty has dry eye, this may go away with the treatment of her eye infection, but could potentially be a life long issue. We will know more as her treatment continues.

What kind of home would be best for me? Black Beauty absolutely adores people. Her lights up when someone approaches. She’s a total snuggle buddy who melts into your arms and never turns down a lap to snuggle in. Her dream - a person to call her own—someone to share lazy days on the couch, join on road trips, and tag along for errands (especially if a pup cup is involved!). She gets along well with dogs of all sizes and may do just fine with a dog-savvy cat—her personality is more curious than confrontational.
Thanks to her petite size, Black Beauty would thrive in almost any home environment—whether that’s an apartment, townhouse, or single-family home. She isn’t picky about who adopts her; she just wants a warm lap, a loving heart, and a forever home. Whether you’re single, part of a couple, or have a family, she’ll be your most loyal and affectionate companion.
What is my personality like? Black Beauty is a sweetheart through and through. She came to us as a breeder release and didn’t have the best start in life. Since arriving at the farm, she’s been treated for severe skin issues and is recovering beautifully. As a former breeding dog, she’s still learning the ropes of everyday life. She’s not yet fully leash-trained and may pull when she’s excited. She’s working on basic commands like sit, stay, and come—but she’s eager to please and a quick learner. With consistent, positive reinforcement, she’ll blossom and bond deeply with her people. She’s also making great progress with potty training and will thrive with a predictable routine and regular outdoor breaks.
Black Beauty is a charming little girl with a huge heart and so much love to give. She’s waiting patiently for her forever family, and she’s more than ready to fill your home with joy, loyalty, and full-body wags.
How do I act when I first meet new people? Black Beauty lights up with joy when meeting someone new. She thrives on affection and attention, and she’s ready to pour her heart into someone special.
Other tips and tidbits: Black Beauty was born 06/26/2023.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
