Personality | Marty just joined his new foster family so they are still learning about him but think he's a sweetheart. :)Story | Marty found himself at a high-kill shelter in Houston with his two brothers. Fortunately, MHLM pulled him and now he's on his way to being a mountain pup! Other Dogs | Marty is great with other dogs. He spends his days wrestling with his brothers and learning cues from the older dogs in his Texas foster home. Cats | Marty hasn't been cat tested yet. Children | Marty would love to join a family with kind, respectful children! Training | Marty is still a puppy and is learning potty training, crate training, and basic commands! He's excited to continue learning how to be the best puppy he can be!Leash | Marty is just starting learning about walking on a leash! He's still unsure about it, but is learning quickly!Activity Level | Moderate. Marty is a classic puppy who loves to play, nap, repeat.Health Notes | Healthy and happy Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
