MEET BRUCE!






Bruce is a good boy. He is quite patient and relaxed while he's home and we're at work. He has some goofy habits like nibbling on the couch cushions. He doesn't destroy it or leave marks but he just likes to nibble on it. He loves car rides and sometimes just rolls around in the back seat with his tongue hanging out. Sometimes we catch him rolling around on his back and he gives us a look like he's embarrassed. He is very good at playing catch. He's eager to please and is food motivated so he's very trainable. He knows basic commands like "place, sit, down, stay." He is generally good on leash walks in the early morning and late nights but is energetic in the middle of the day and can pull on the leash. He seems very protective and guarded around other dogs and people when we're on walks. He will pull if he sees cats. He's not super cuddly but he does get excited when he sees you and can jump on you. He doesn't realize how big and hefty he is so he could knock over a small child. Bruce would probably do well as the only dog in a calm household. He doesn't seem to like cats, small animals or quick movements. We don't hear him bark very much. He occasionally howls but once we check on him, he stops. Bruce will make a great companion for someone in the right home.
