Buckwheat! With his eyeliner perfectly applied and definitely dramatic, Buckwheat is ready to make his debut. He’s a looker, that’s for sure. He’s also a puppy. Buckwheat is 4 months old and weighs 25 pounds or so. My guess is that he’s a conglomeration of several breeds…all farm or hound type dogs. He has gorgeous eyes and a soft, blond coat. Buckwheat is sweet, friendly and does well with other dogs. But his level of manners falls somewhere between a March hare and a road lizard. He needs help with politeness, and the inmate trainers will make sure he gets plenty of it. Give them a few weeks and Buckwheat will be a dandy!He is currently at Paws in Prison. He’ll graduate in about 6 weeks with his canine good citizen certificate. He is fully vetted. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
