DOG'S DESCRIPTION:





Looking for a furry companion who will bring joy, loyalty, and endless love into your home?  Bump is the one for you! This stunningly handsome gentleman is ready to find his forever family. Here’s a little about him:





 Personality: Bump is extremely sweet and absolutely LOVES people! He loves to play with other dogs, and his current foster describes him as having "a gem of a personality". If you are looking for BIG love, Bump has it!





 Training & Behavior: This charming guy is already crate trained, housetrained, knows "sit" and will come to you when called. He needs some training on his manners, as he will jump up on you and enjoys counter surfing (but is learning that this is a "no-no".) While he has learned a lot walking on leash, Bump still needs training as he likes to zig zag around you and can pull you over with his sheer weight. In general, Bump is quiet, but will occasionally bark if he wants something.



Health & Wellness
: Bump was extremely underweight when he arrived in our care, but has

 gained 15 lbs. and is looking pretty fit. We feel he could stand to gain a few more pounds, so he agrees that he will happily enjoy more treats!




 Perfect Home: Bump is VERY energetic and needs a good amount of exercise. Currently, he walks at least 2 miles a day. We prefer to place him in an active home, especially with an adopter who has previous large dog experience.






Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee.
