Meet Charlie Brown (aka Charlie)! This handsome, young boy came into our care as his previous owner was no longer able to handle his high energy nor continue to give him the care a young boy like him deserves. Charlie has been well cared for and loved - he could spare to lose a few pounds, but we know once he's in an active home setting where he is able to go for many walks and have the room to run safely - a fenced in yard would be great - the extra few pounds will shed away.
Charlie appears to be a very smart fella, he knows a couple basic commands and is always attentive to his surroundings. Although the shelter environment is a new, unfamiliar setting for him, he is adjusting to his new surroundings and learning to trust & love our volunteers. Being a young boy yet (around 10 months old), Charlie will require continued obedience and socialization trainings to continue him on the right path to success as a young adult. He is ready & eager to learn - so obedience training courses will also help enrich his very sharp mind.
Charlie Brown is up-to-date on his vaccinations, he was previously neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and was receiving monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. All he is waiting for is his new perfect forever home!
If you're interested in meeting Charlie, please complete an online adoption application found on our website at www.wesavpets.com as the first step of the adoption process. Once the application has been received, a Safe Haven volunteer will be in contact.
