Meet Chloe, the goof ball of a pittie. Chloe came into the Shelter with a canine friend and has expanded her circle of friends since her arrival. She attends playgroup with her friend “Thor” and watching the two play sparks pure joy. Chloe runs around doing zoomies, dramatic playbows and is just utterly adorable. Chloe is not so fond of sharing her food or treats with other dogs so she may thrive as the only pup but would benefit from having doggy friends to go for walks and play with. Chloe is still perfecting some life skills and manners but with a patient adopter and positive reinforcement based training, we anticipate this gal will make a great sidekick. This dog’s adoption fee is reduced to $70 from May 1st to May 15th as part of “Empty the Shelters”, an adoption event hosted by the Bissell Pet Foundation to help pets across the nation find the loving adoptive homes they deserve.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
