Colonel Mustard is an adorable 11 month old and 10 lb Chihuahua Mix looking for his special person.
Mustard came to the rescue after his owner who had been with him all his life moved in with family members which confused him and caused him to become anxious and “Barky” so they decided to euthanize him. One of our wonderful volunteers stepped up to save his life and he has come out of his shell in his foster home.
Mustard is still not a fan of a strangers but if such a love bug with his person! Once he trusts you he is a true “ride or die”
Mustard has done great with learning how to be potty trained, kennel trained and rides great in the car and walks well on a leash.
Mustard loves other dogs and cats but he will also be just fine by himself. Mustard enjoys playing fetch and sunbathing in the yard and following his person around.
Mustard does better with women and will need a patient owner to show him he is safe and be okay with not having a dog that loves the public. We do not recommend a home with multiple family members or children. Mustard has plenty of unconditional love and laughs to give ❤️

We are located in Pensacola, Fl. Local applications considered first, but will consider out of state applications if transport can be arranged.
Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention. We understand there are some special cases and will take those into consideration.
