Crawford came to the shelter on Feb. 11th, when his legal hold time at the city pound was finished. He's a pretty large and strong pit bull type guy who seems easy going and happy. He has the big, beefy head that we love! He has been vet checked, neutered, and chipped and his fee is $150.

Crawford loves people and is very friendly but might need a little work on his manners. He could use some work on leash walking which isn't unusual, but he's not horrendous. He is very strong! He can be a little reactive with other dogs but is redirected pretty easily. He might have the potential to be okay with a well mannered female dog. Older kids would be best for him as he is large and strong. NO cats or smaller animals for this hunk.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
