Dakota is a 3 year old male Hound mix, who is a perfect mix of lovable and active. He will wait patiently to be taken out of his cage and then walks nicely on leash with the cutest prance. Once he’s in the park, he has a nice, medium energy level, playing in brief spurts. Dakota is happy throwing toys in the air to catch by himself, but especially enjoys it when you participate. He also loves romping with other dogs in the park and has shown to be a fun, tolerant play partner. Of course, a meet-n-greet is always recommended if other dogs live in the home. After playtime he’s totally content to wind down with some intense cuddle time. This sweet boy loves getting affection, and goes into statue mode when you wrap your arms around him for head kisses. Give this lovable boy a few minutes, and you will discover a dog who melts your heart, as he has with several of the volunteers.
