is a playful girl with an adventurous spirit! Deena looks like she could be a Shiba Inu / Shepherd mix. She is a spayed female, estimated to be 4 years old and weighs 44 pounds. Whatever she is, she is beautiful! We believe she would thrive with a human companion who loves going on hikes and exploring what the earth has to offer! Although we don’t have too many notes on how she interacts with other dogs, what we can tell so far is that she is interested and tolerates other dogs, but she is pretty guarded. She likes to keep to herself and as such, we recommend she be the only dog in the household or housed with calm dogs only. Come meet this beauty!

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
