Gets Along With: Denver does well with other dogs. We haven't seen her with kids or cats, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
 
Currently Living at:  DC area foster home
 
Special Adoption Considerations: In certain home settings - where the environment might be louder or more intense - this dog would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence. 
 
Denver is Looking For:    Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own and is oh so eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. She's pretty young, probably under a couple of years old, and is eager to see and experience the world! To explore all the toys! To go to dog school to learn to be the bestest girl! And to make new pup and people pals along the way!
What she wants most of all, though, is to love and be loved, to know where she belongs, to know she's under her own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange she promises adoring gazes and happy tail wags and snuggles and loyal companionship. What do you say? Is Denver the companion you have been seeking?
What My Foster Says About Me:  Denver is the sweetest, most playful little lady. Her motto is “play hard, nap hard.” She may seem shy at events, but in her foster home she’s very friendly with her foster parents, dog sibling, neighbor dogs and any friends who might stop by, be they human or dog. For a lady getting used to living in a home she has made amazing progress both house and crate training. She really is the best girl!!
 
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
