info@paw-rescue.orgSIX MONTHS. That’s how long sweet Dobby has waited.
Six months in a kennel, watching other dogs go home while he stays behind, still hoping that his person is just around the corner.
This lovable goofball has so much love to give — and nowhere to give it.
Dobby is a volunteer favorite — the kind of dog who steals your heart the moment you meet him. He’s sweet, goofy, and friendly with everyone, including kids. His favorite things? Kisses. Cuddles. Being near his people.
At home, Dobby is an absolute dream. He’s polite, housebroken, knows a bunch of commands, and is crate-trained. He’ll nap peacefully for most of the day — and when it’s time for some fun, he’s all in! Tug-of-war, fetch, tail wags… and then back to snuggles.
He’s about 5½ years old, which means he’s past the puppy chaos but still has lots of playful energy when it counts. At 66 lbs, he’s a Great Dane/Terrier mix with the body of a gentle giant and the heart of a teddy bear.
Dobby can be dog-selective, so he’s best as your one-and-only — but honestly, he’ll be all you need. And to set him up for success, PAW will provide training support to help his transition into home life.
Dobby doesn’t need much. Just a soft bed. A hand to hold. A home to finally call his own, even if it's a foster home.
He’s been waiting so long. Will you be the one who finally says, “You’re home, Dobby”?
