ELLA - 1-5 years old, 60 pounds, house trained but has accidents

Ella is a recent surrender at VBACAC when her owner could no longer care for her.

Her loveliness starts at her smile. It's huge, wide and hospitable.

She stands tall with her long lean legs and glides around the yard like a champ.

She is known to steal objects from countertops, thus putting those long legs and tall stature to use. LOL

Ella might try to steal your bed as well! Yes, she loves sleeping alongside her owner in a bed.

She loves to play with toys, especially plush, squeaky and tug toys.

She does have accidents in the home. Please be patient as this little lady might be on the very young side of her estimated age and not yet fully trained.

Ella doesn't seem to trust kids yet so let's look for some older kids who can be respectful of her space.

We tried her in our shelter playgroup and she seemed great! She ran around all over, chasing and being chased. She tolerated a lot with a couple other dogs but was very good at correcting the other dogs with a giant smile and snap at them. Good girl! Bring in any resident dog for a meet and greet and please remember to supervise.  *We vet the playgroup dogs and constantly supervise.

Ella is currently in a back kennel so if you come in to meet her and don't see her, please just ask.
