Meet Elphaba (Elphie)!

Elphie is a young Siberian Husky pup with a stunning, soft coat and a strong personality to match. Rescued as a terrified puppy from the Santa Rosa shelter, she has grown into a confident, playful, and outgoing girl.

Born around July 2024, Elphie is now  coming into her true husky nature. She is an alpha female and would do best with a passive male companion dog or as the only dog in the home. She plays well with all dogs but prefers to be in charge when living with another pup. Like a typical husky, she loves rough play, so she's not suited for homes with small dogs.

 

Here’s what makes Elphie special:

• Potty trained and dog door trained

• Sleeps quietly in her crate all night or can free range the house and be trusted

• Not food aggressive and shares toys well

• Loves exploring the backyard 

• Still has some puppy mouthiness, so continued training is needed

• Good with kids who understand how to respect a dogs space

 

Elphie is looking for an experienced home that will continue her training and give her the structure she thrives on. She would do great with an active family who can keep her engaged and entertained.
