5/5/25 Update from Fang’s foster mom: He is very affectionate and a fast learner.  Some fun Fang facts—





Not a door dasher, Fang waits to go outside and does not rush you down the street. He loves to watch what’s going on in the neighborhood.





Fang knows -"sit," "touch," "down," "wait" and "No."





Treats? Just let him know what he needs to do and he will learn it.





Rides excellent in a car.





Fang enjoys hikes and boat rides.





He is playful without being exhausting.





He will snuggle to watch TV with you.





Couch potato - YES.





Fang is very patient about being fed.





He does not “beg” for food. He will wait to see if you will share, if not that is fine.





Clumsy? YES! He is still a puppy at heart.





Never an issue with going into the crate - just a Kong with Peanut butter and he is happy. When in the crate he is relaxed and not anxious. He stays calm when you go to let him out of the crate.





Fang is calm as you go about your day coming in and out of the house.





Completely house trained.





Fang is a playful and clever 1 year old dog! Weighing in at around 50 lbs, Fang is not only house trained and crate trained, but he's also a quick learner who has mastered commands like "sit," "touch," "down," and "wait." Fang has picked up our agility course with ease. He is also a great buddy to take along on your adventures because he loves walking, hiking, and swimming and rides well in the car.





Rescued from a backyard breeder in Newark along with his brother Pirata, Fang is full of energy and smarts. He has a goofy side too! This makes him quite the character around the house. Fang is a great dog that has a lot of love to offer someone.
