Frank is an older gent who was surrendered to us on 4/21/2024 due to his owner's health issues. This good ol' coonhound is 9 years old now and did live most of his former life outside. He was trained to hunt coyotes and has a few scars to show it. He's a big and strong dude with a kind and somewhat mellow disposition. He has been vet checked, neutered, chipped, and his fee is $150.

We think Frank would make a nice companion for someone who has the space for him - space being the key word. He enjoys the great outdoors, ambling around looking for adventure. He doesn't ask for a lot and is very loyal. As a hound he definitely follows his nose so a secure environment is important. He would do best in an adult only home. Teens are fine. He is accustomed to the company of other dogs. Cats are a no.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.
