Ginger and Skeeter are a sweet, bonded pair of middle-aged miniature poodles. They love to spend time with their person—and each other. Whether it’s sitting with you on the couch or following you around the house, they just want to be close and would make ideal companions for a retired couple or individual who is home a lot.
They also get along well with other dogs, both large and small. They are mostly housebroken when taken out on a regular schedule. Skeeter may need a belly band at first until he adjusts to a new home, but he wears one without a problem. The pair sleep through the night without accidents. Ginger and Skeeter recently had a vet wellness exam and received a clean bill of health. They’re also up to date on ProHeart, a heartworm preventative that lasts for a full year.
While they are small dogs, they may not be the best fit for apartment living—Skeeter loves to bark and can be quite vocal. Additionally, while they could do well with an older individual or couple, their new person should be able to take them outside regularly. They love exploring the yard and having the freedom to run and sniff.
This precious pair just wants a person or persons to call their own. Could it be you?
