Goose is a silly, happy little dude, hence his fun name. He came to Grateful Dogs Rescue from Hitchcock Road Animal Services, where he had been brought after a Good Samaritan found him in a box in the Dollar Tree parking lot. Scary times, indeed.
Happily, after being in a loving foster home, Goose has blossomed, and his fun happy personality has shone through! Goose has been living the life since arriving at GDR. He's a great traveler and he enjoyed his time in Mendocino.
Goose loves playing with his canine foster sister Mimsy. Running and wrestling in the yard, snuggling in the house! Goose loves his foster mom and dad.
Goose is so much fun, and his foster mom likes to say he's a yoga instructor since he is always stretching out and in "downward dog".
Goose needs an adoptive home that will take him on daily even 2x daily excursions to keep him active and to burn off that young dog energy. He LOVES walking around the neighborhoods and exploring. He is not going to be content with just hanging in the yard.
Goose is one - two years old. Goose is 10 lbs.
Goose likes small dogs and big dogs. Goose likes all people but he can be timid at first, so treats are the way to his heart. Goose can be "spicy" so he is looking for an experienced owner who loves the breed and the spice and the amazing loyalty of a Chihuahua.
Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for GOOSE is $300.
