Hermie came to us with a few other dogs (possibly siblings) that were in involved in a hoarding/neglect case. He has been with us quite a while and unfortunately still has some effects from his past. He will need a quiet adult only home with someone that has experience with fearful dogs like this. He would do best in a home with a dog about his size that is outgoing & wanting to be his friend to help him adjust. Securely fenced yard required.
NOTE: Local applications are given first priority and some out of town areas will not be able to be processed.
At this time, we will only be able to process applications that have an excellent current vet history. If you haven’t had a pet or verifiable vet history we will not be able to process your application.

ADOPTION DONATION: $300
This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption. All vet records will be provided to adopter.
Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
