Bio: Some dogs are born in a warm cozy house with lots of love, food and human interaction and some dogs like Jackson are born into awful situations and need help from wonderful groups like the ones that saved him and approximately 70 other dogs from a hoarding situation in Texas. We cannot begin to describe the awful living conditions, not to mention the fire that took the lives of some as they were almost to safety.
With that being said, Jackson is more than deserving of his chance at a forever family with a warm blanket to snuggle up in, a bowl full of food and people who will promise to love him and take care of him. He is shy, but curious. Jackson is friendly, likes other dogs and enjoys people, especially if they have food. He is still learning to trust, though, and can be skittish when approached fast. He will take time to settle and to earn your trust, but is definitely showing us his sweet, loving side already.
Jackson is learning that potty breaks happen outside and will be working on that with consistency. Until then, he does wear a belly band while roaming freely inside to avoid mishaps. He has been accident free while kenneled overnight.

Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.
