Jak was rescued off the streets back in the coldest part of winter. His owner never came forward to claim him. Jake is a really fun, energetic boy who gets along well with all the other dogs he has encountered. He hasn't been around cats but may be a little too energetic for them, unless the home was set up to provide escape routes for the cats, where they can safely take breaks from him. We don't believe he would try to hurt one but he thinks everyone wants to play like he does. Jak is a young adult, probably 2-3 years old, and we believe he is an Australian Shepherd mix. He has not exhibited herding tendencies, but he is very agile- he can climb anything! See the last photo for proof. Jak would excel in agility training. He is also very affectionate and good natured, he just sees the world as one big playground. He is good with kids, house trained, crate trained, and knows a few basic commands. He is fully vetted. He's ready to find his forever family!Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
