Meet Kingston — a gentle soul with a heart of gold
At nearly 3 years old, Kingston is a sweet, soft-hearted Pit Bull who’s looking for love, not guard duty. He’s not your tough guy — in fact, you’ll be the one protecting him. Loud noises, fast movements, and busy crowds make him nervous, but with a calm and loving environment, Kingston truly shines ✨
He’s dog-friendly, crate trained, and absolutely adores people. This boy lives for attention and affection. His demeanor is mellow with just the right touch of playfulness — he’s the kind of dog who wants to curl up next to you after a game of fetch in the yard.
Kingston recently completed the PAWs to Prison Training Program, where he learned several commands — even though the environment was overwhelming for him. He tried his best every step of the way, showing just how resilient and willing he is to grow when given a chance. Here's what his trainer had to say about Kingston: "Kingston is a mellow, gentle and loving boy who will relax by your side all day long. He is a well-mannered and quiet dog, the perfect stay-at-home friend. Kingston is a timid boy who is fearful of crowds and loud places and doesn't demand a lot of high energy exercise. But he will be an excited wiggle machine when you arrive home at the end of your day. He is a big softie and lover-boy who will want to be by your side. Kingston is crate trained and has learned his basic obedience behaviors including sit, down, stay, come, shake, and go to bed."
If you’re looking for a loyal companion to love, comfort, and share your quiet moments with, Kingston is your guy Let’s find this big-hearted boy the gentle home he deserves.
