Lacey is an adorable, goofy, 7 pound, 4 year old Maltese looking for her happily ever after! She LOVES other dogs and relies on them to thrive so she can't be an only dog in her new home.  Her life was spent breeding in a mill, and she still has reservations about humans, but allows all handling. Lacey is coming around each day and enjoys playing with toys. She is house trained, crate trained, and does well in a car. Unfortunately, she doesn't like coming inside from the yard which will be a continued work in progress in a new home. She does need a fenced yard, would use a doggie door if available, but having a drag leash on when outside to be able to secure her and bring indoors has been necessary for the month she has been here. This does take time with mill releases, and we know it will improve. Lacey does need regular grooming, ear plucking, and coat maintenance to ensure she is comfortable.
