LOCATION: West Fork, ARDOB: 11/18/2019Meet Birdie, a classic Great Dane with a heart full of love and a touch of sass. Currently living with six other dogs, Birdie is looking for a home with only one or two large male dogs. While she has only had altercations with one of the female dogs in her current home, we believe a home with just males would be best for her. She does need to be fed alone.Birdie is great with cats and children, and she bonds closely with her people. Her favorite person in her current home is the husband. When a stranger visits the house, Birdie will bark but warms up quickly. Her owners trust her fully with humans of all sorts.This excellent lady is house trained and has a doggy door to go in and out as she pleases. She’s never tried to escape the fence when unsupervised, granted it is 6ft tall. Birdie is not destructive, though she may destroy your pillow if left in a bedroom alone for too long. She does great on car rides and is used to daily walks.Birdie is a really great girl, and her family is devastated to part with her.
