Yes, I’m Landseal. Obviously. Foster mom won’t stop talking about me, and frankly, I don’t blame her—I’m adorable. She keeps whispering something about a “breeder release,” but I don’t know what that means. All I know is I used to live in a barn with heat lamps, zero home decor, and exactly one job: exist.
But now? I’m rewriting my story.
I’m looking for a patient, kind human—preferably one who doesn’t expect me to understand this whole “potty outside” thing right away. I’m trying, okay? I’ve only recently learned that rugs aren’t grass.
I adore dogs of all kinds and shapes. Humans? I’m working on it. At first, I might duck my head and inch toward you like I’m sneaking up on a snack. But if you scratch just the right spot? Boom—I'm in your lap like I pay rent there, melting into a puddle of snuggles.
I’m ridiculously quiet, suspiciously small, and shockingly sweet once I trust you. So here’s to new beginnings, soft landings, and someone finally showing me what love really feels like.
Give a barn guy a chance, will ya?
Landseal is from a breeder release. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
