Lotus is a 1–2 year old mystery mix of sugar, spice, and “what does this squeaky toy even do?” He’s a 10-pound emotional support burrito with a heart of gold, a tail that never lies, and a nose that seems to think every tree deserves a personal note.
When Lotus first arrived, he was a little shy—more “emotional indie film” than “action-packed blockbuster.” But now? Now he’s your classic romantic comedy lead: loyal, charming, and just a little bit clingy (in the cutest way). He’ll follow you from room to room like he’s your tiny, fuzzy assistant manager—just with fewer spreadsheets and more soulful stares.
He’s discovering toys like a sheltered Victorian child discovering jazz—curious, a bit confused, and definitely into it. Squeaky toys? Fascinating. Balls? Intriguing. Treats? …Well, treats are for chewing, spitting out, and rolling on top of, obviously.
Lotus is:
• Sweet and snuggly (the kind of dog who turns couches into cuddle zones)
• Good with other dogs and polite with strangers (even the tiny, sticky-handed kind)
• Learning how to leash walk (he’s more “wander behind you and zigzag” than “heel,” but we’re getting there!)
• Potty trained and proudly accident-free
• A strong candidate for “World’s Fastest Zoomies”
• Basically silent unless you wear sunglasses and a hat and bang carts outside his window (understandably alarming)
Lotus is deeply devoted to his people and doesn't love being left behind. He’s happiest when he can be near his favorite human, whether it’s tagging along to the office or supervising from the couch. If you're the type who works from home or has a flexible schedule, Lotus would love to be your tiny shadow. He's working on gaining confidence when he's on his own, and with a little patience and some positive reinforcement, he’s sure to blossom into a more independent pup.
Whether he’s lounging on the windowsill watching the world go by or snuggling up in bed with his favorite human, Lotus is the kind of dog who’ll look up at you like you hung the moon every single day.
So, if you’re ready for a best friend who’s equal parts playful, sweet, and comically dramatic about liver treats—Lotus is ready to steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch).
