Hi, I'm Louie, a very playful Heinz 57 breed dog who was rescued from a shelter when my time was almost up. DNA test results came back with American Pit Bull Terrier with McNab and Siberian Husky a close second and third, then not too far behind are Catahoula Leopard, Supermutt (I like that one) and German Shepherd with a little bit of Border Collie sprinkled in.

I'm good with other dogs and cats too. I'm a young boy with energy to spare. I love to run so may make a great running buddy. I also enjoy going for walks. I would benefit from another dog in the home to play with.

I'm friendly and love playing fetch. I'm the perfect gentleman at any adoption events I've been to. I do great in playgroups and I enjoy playing with the other dogs.

I was adopted as a puppy, but proved to be too much for the family as well as the smaller children in the home. I'd do best in an adult only home or a home with older children.

I can't believe I'm still waiting for my forever family to come and take me home. Please consider me if you're looking for a fur baby to add to your family.
