She has been in a foster home with cats and is learning to ignore them for the most part, but sometimes tries to tempt them to play with her. She has lived with a ten year old child and did very well. She is treat-motivated and enjoys the mental stimulation of training sessions.She is a smart gal, knowing some basic commands, including "sit" and "wait". Lucy is mostly crate trained and settles down to sleep after a few minutes. She will alert when she needs to go outside, but is still learning to hold it long enough to get outdoors every time. With a consistent schedule, Lucy will no doubt be a pro in no time. She walks well on a leash and with a confident handler, will perfect her leash manners. Lucy is smart, confident and ready to take on the world!
