Meet Lulu!
This adorable baja mutt was rescued along with her brother Lukas. The siblings where rescued by a Ensenada Veterinarian who found them abandoned at her clinic when she opened on a working day. The pups where only about a month old so she helped bottle feed them. Sadly, with the holidays and her hectic work schedule she kept fostering them hoping to find a home through her baja clients with no luck so she reached out to us and we took the siblings in. We made arrangements to have them transported to San Diego and have been here since the first week of February. They are fully vaccinated and HEALTHY strong little pups. We of course do not know their breeds, we do know they are your typical mutts. Likely a small and large breed genetic mashed to give the perfect medium size dog. As of February they are only 20 pounds and we think they will grow into a mid 30 pound, possibly top 40 pounds. We are labeling them as terriers but they can have pit, chi, collie, lab, who KNOWS what breeds. ALL we know is they are ADORABLE and toooo sweet. They can both be shy and introverted at first but within a few minutes they open up and start loving on you. Lulu is the most outgoing of the two, super licky face who just wants your affection and lick you CLEAN! ha Lukas is a little 'less' ei a bit calmer but still equaly as affectionate. We think a labrador breed may be strong on these babies. We are looking for fosters starting Friday 2/21. Both siblings will be attending the adoption event 2/15, not ready to be adopted yet because they have surgery for sterilization but will be ready to be adopted 2/24.If you'd like to meet them in person stop by the upcoming event 2/15 and if you miss it, please submit an application online to schedule a meet and greet during the week or weekend. You are welcome to inquire about our foster to adopt trials for a week or two too!
