Meet Maddie! The Goofy Gal Looking for Her Forever Home!!! Background: Maddie, the adorable black Pitbull, was dropped off at a local shelter in Connecticut with her mom. The person who left them behind said he didn't want them anymore (seriously, who could resist Maddie's charm?!). When Fetching Hearts got the call, the Animal Control Officer (ACO) said Maddie was super scared, curled up like a little cinnamon roll in the corner of her kennel. We knew she needed out ASAP, so we found her a foster home where Maddie is now safe and sound. Personality: Maddie has started to show her true, goofy self since leaving the shelter. She has some scars on her face, but don't let that fool you—she's a cuddle bug who loves her people once she warms up to them. It doesn't take long for her to feel comfortable and start showering you with love. Social Skills: Maddie is a social butterfly! She gets along great with other dogs and even cats. She loves playing and pouncing around her fenced yard, showing off her playful and energetic side. Training Needs: Maddie will need some obedience training to learn her commands and grow into the best girl ever. Given her potential size, we recommend a home with older kids (over 15 years) because she might accidentally knock over the little ones with her bouncy nature. Special Traits: Maddie is super smart and eager to learn, making training a breeze. She has a playful spirit, often resembling Tigger with her joyful pounces in the grass. Why Maddie? Maddie deserves a chance at a wonderful life, just like any other pup. Don't let her breed or color deter you—she has so much love to give and is ready to find her forever home. Apply for Maddie today and show her that the world is full of kind, loving people. She would love to find her best friend or couple. Could that be you?
