Personality | Bo is a beautiful chocolate Lab mix with a tender heart and a gentle spirit. He’s a quiet, sensitive guy who’s still learning to trust the world. Bo is nervous around new people and unsure about leash walking right now, but with time, patience, and kindness, he’s showing more confidence every day. If you have the heart and home to help Bo blossom, he’ll reward you with loyalty and unconditional love. Story | Bo was found as a stray puppy and ended up in a high-kill shelter before being rescued and brought to Colorado for a second chance! Other Dogs | Where Bo truly shines is with other dogs—he loves canine companions and would thrive in a home with a friendly, confident dog to help guide him. His happy place is lounging on a soft bed surrounded by his toys and furry friends. Cats | Bo is a gentle boy who hasn’t shown any signs of prey drive. While we’re unsure how he is with cats, his calm demeanor suggests he may do well with a proper, slow introduction.Children | Bo has lived in a home with teenagers and does well with them—he may be a little nervous at first, but he’s always sweet and gentle. He hasn’t lived with young kids, so a calmer household might be best while he continues to build confidence.Training I Bo is crate-trained, house-trained, working on basic commands, and is treat motivated. With patience, tasty rewards, and a loving environment, Bo is sure to blossom into a loyal, happy companion.Leash | Bo hasn't been exposed to the leash much in his life so his foster family is slowly introducing him to this concept.
