Hello, my name is Maevis. Despite what my name and scruffy appearance might suggest I am not a little old lady. I am an 11-month-old Boston terrier mix. I am a very spunky girl. My foster mom says I have the most adorable bunny- like ears which is fitting since I hop around like a bunny when I'm excited. I love my canine foster siblings and have enjoyed all the dogs I've met. I have heard that there are other pets called "cats" but I've never met one.
I currently weigh 25lbs and if I still have some growing to do, I could weigh around 35lbs when I'm fully grown. I am crate trained, although I don't always love it, and potty trained as long as I am kept on a schedule.
I can be a shy at first and am a little fearful of the world outside, but my foster mom has been working really hard to show me that the world and new people aren't always scary. Are you interested in a pup with training? Look no further, Rescue Rovers works very closely with a local training facility called Kudos to Canines and I am currently going to their confident canines' class to help me be the confident pup my foster mom knows that I am. I also graduated from the Bright beginnings class. I would love a home that would continue to help me grow through training.
If you would like to learn more about me and think I could be your new best friend apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
