MARLA IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE - her profile remains posted because her brother, Austin, is still looking for his new family!


Marla is quite shy, like Austin, but she is more petite. A little bit of her sense of humor is already peeking out! Please watch for updated profiles for both of them as they are brand new and we are still geting to know them. Marla is smart, gentle, and will charm her new family!


Marla carefully checks out new people but is curious and cooperative. She enjoys treats and is a learning that the leash is ok! Marla is still a bit overwhelmed but she is a very good girl and beginning to enjoy her new surroundings.

 

Marla needs a private, adjacent backyard and at least one other similar size/age dog friend in her new home. She requires careful supervision as pertains to gates and doors, so we'll be watching for applications from homes where children, if any, are middle school or older.



Marla will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements.
