4/24/2025Maxine is being returned by her adopter and is looking for a new home.HI! My name is Maxine! I am a beautiful 1 year old fawn girl with the cutest underbite and unique ears! I am an owner surrender return after being adopted from the rescue in January and being returned due to my mannerisms not conducive to my adoptive family. I am described as friendly, shy, active, playful, and nervous! I am alert to things around me. It is uncertain if I am dog friendly due to me barking and pulling on leash and my current owner is uncomfortable taking me around other dogs. I currently live with two kids (ages 3 and 12 years old) and am fine with them! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am crate trained and sleep in my kennel at night but will need assistance with my house training manners. I tend to pull on the leash when on walks so I will need assistance learning proper leash manners. When the humans must be away and I am left alone, I am fine and sleep. When outside I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I enjoy riding in the car and hoping my next car ride home will be with you!
