!!URGENT- DEADLINE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE: WEDNESDAY 5/7/25!!Meet Little Miss Muffet. She's a precious 45-lb who is quickly winning the heart of volunteers with her sweet and affectionate side. She loves going on walks and walks well on leash, and enjoys being by her person's side. Miss Muffet recently went out on a doggie day out through our Barks and Rec program. Here's what the people had to say about her... “I got to spend yesterday with Miss Muffet! She is such a precious girl! On our day out, she went on a car ride, a long walk, played in the backyard, she loved rolling around in the grass, took a nap and walked around midtown. She was friendly towards the people we met and a little shy walking around other dogs. She used a dog door multiple times to do her business. She loved treats and I think she would be easy to train ! Miss Muffet also loved giving and getting kisses. I know she would be an amazing family member!”As you can see, she is cute as a button and can't wait to make your acquaintance :)Although Miss Muffet has participated in shelter playgroups with other dogs and did ok (see videos below), she could not be paired with another dog in a kennel (in the shelter environment) but may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
