Missy is super sweet and essentially a unicorn dog She would make a perfect family companion! She is super cuddly with her people once she is comfortable
Dog friendly ✅
Cat friendly ✅ Missy plays well with the cat in her foster home. She would be good around dog-savvy cats as she likes to play with the cat as she would as if it were a dog
Kids ✅ Missy is currently being fostered in a home with older kids and she does very well with them but sometimes gets over excited and will jump up. She has also been around younger kids and does very well and is gentle with them
Missy can be a bit nervous when meeting new people but getting better everyday!
Missy’s foster family have been working hard on basic obedience training and recall and she’s doing very well. She’s not food motivated so this is proving to be a little more difficult. She can be nervous in new environments but responds well to praise and reassurance from her humans
House trained Missy does well going outside, however, if you miss her cues to go outside she will have an accident
Leash manners ✅ She has been using a head harness, and she is great with it.
Crate trained ✅ Missy sleeps in her crate, sleeps through the night, and is comfortable in her crate.
Car rides ✅ She won’t willingly jump in the car but once in she’s totally fine
Zero food or toy aggression ✅
Missy is a medium-energy dog. Her foster mom thinks she could be an amazing running partner and thinks she would thrive in dog sports which would help to build her confidence even more
