Hello! My name is Molly and I am a 4-year-old, 71 lb spayed female. I am doing well with housetraining and am already crate-trained. I am trustworthy left uncrated when home alone, though I do enjoy having a crate set up so I can use it as a safe space when I am overwhelmed.
I can be cautious when first meeting new people before warming up to women and older children.  I seek affection often from my family and people I know, especially butt scratches! I also love being told I am a good girl, particularly when I am parading around a stuffy toy I’ve found! I am very shy of men and have not completely warmed up to any I have met, so any men in my home need to be comfortable with giving me space and patience.
I do well with other dogs and will feed off other dogs’ confidence, so I would do best in a home with a confident canine companion to help show me the ropes! I have also met cats and didn’t mind them being around.
I am doing well learning some basic cues such as sit, come, drop, and wait. I would love to find a family who will continue my training and confidence building! I may need lifted in to the car, then I ride well wherever we’re going. I am still working on my leash skills. I am a happy, sweet, playful girl who is ready to find my perfect adoptive home. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
