I’m Mr Peanut Butter Cup and I’m trying to be the PB to your jelly!
You may recognize me because I’m no stranger to Rescue Rovers, and either is my family. I was born in a foster home and raised with my mom and siblings. I’ve been learning and growing for over 7 months now and would love to settle into a family who can help me continue to do so.
I’m a cattle dog mix and the puppy weight calculator has me estimated to weigh up to 60 pounds full grown, but my mom was a petite 35 pounds so we’ll see!
I’m a fun guy who loves to play with dogs, but as with any new young pup I may still need your help to supervise the play. I’ve been exposed to dogs, chickens, kids, and cats. I’m a very gentle boy who would thrive in a small or large family.
In my foster home I’ve shown to be a very loyal companion and will lounge next to my foster mom wherever she is. And any lap is fair game. While loyalty is the name of the game for any good boy, I’m certain the bond I form with my family is going to be one of those special “soul dog” kind of bonds. Can you imagine??
Socialization to people and animals has been easy, but my exercise has been limited to backyard romps so I’m still figuring out how the heck a leash works. I’m not terrible, but I love to circle my foster mom and sit at her feet.
Wherever home is, I’d benefit from continued exposure and training. There’s so much to explore and I’ve only had a taste of it! But don’t worry, I’m already potty trained and crate trained so I’ve got plenty of time for everything else.
I’d love to meet you, so please apply at
