I found MUTT as a stray in Flint, MI approximately 4 years ago. He immediately fit right in at home and has since joined us on our many travels spanning most of the United States.
As our family started to grow, MUTT began to develop a bit of a protective streak and out of pure precaution, we no longer feel comfortable with him around our baby... so we are unfortunately looking to rehome him. He has recently been neutered and is absolutely great with friends, family & other dogs/cats, but is very protective when it comes to his home environment. Some care/precautions will be necessary when it comes to introducing him to new people on his home turf as he does have a bite history with strangers entering his domain unannounced. After proper introductions, MUTT is sweet as pie and has zero issues outside of his domain/in public. He is an absolute STAR at the dog park and anywhere we take him in general as he is highly social and friendly. MUTT is extremely obedient and has been trained offlead and crate trained as well. He absolutely loves camping, road trips/car rides and being outside in general. He is roughly 5 or 6 years old, so he is relatively calm indoors and enjoys sleeping at the foot of the bed or taking naps near his favorite humans.
This has been the absolute hardest decision we have had to make as a family, but trust in our heart of hearts that he will find a loving home soon as he deserves nothing less than the best! **** Breed: Unknown Breed **** Pet Link: https://www.nokillnetwork.org/adoption/pet_detail.php?petid=2180463&flag=1
